Visitors to Paris can soak up the past. But now they can step into the future.
Digital entertainment company Ymagis has opened in Paris the first of what it expects to be a network of virtual reality adventure parks. Dubbed Illucity, the facility offers four different immersive experiences.: Hyper Reality Experience, VR Escape Game, VR Arcade and VR Film.

HYPER REALITY EXPERIENCE
A team game in a 100m2 space that vibrates and has heat sensors. Games include After Humanity and TOYLAND : Crazy Monkey.

VR ESCAPE GAME
Several players work to solve a puzzle as part of unraveling a mysterious plot.
Games include Assassin’s Creed : Escape The Lost Pyramid, The Pirate’s Curse, Eclipse, and
Incarna.

VR ARCADE
Using equipment like haptic gloves, a connected sword, or a steering wheel, players can choose from: The Raft, APE-X, KnightFall, Arizona Sunshine, Space Pirate Trainer, Project
Cars 2, Beat Saber, Far Reach, and Space Flight.

VR FILM
Viewers plunge into a film by using a VR headset and sitting in a connected chair. The can watch: Construct, Asteroids, Invasion, Tara, or Out Of The Blue.

Ymagis has invested more than €1.5 million in Illucity, which is located in Paris’ Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie, at the entrance of the Parc de La Villette (19th arrondissement).
