The Playful Facades of Rueil-Malmaison

We recently journeyed from the center of Paris to visit friends who had moved to Rueil-Malmaison, a charming village just outside the borders’ of France’s largest city. It was certainly a world apart. A suburb that felt like a small town, but within reach of the bustling metropolis. And while the city center is lively and full of shops, where there was an empty storefront, locals had decided to just paint their own imaginary merchants.
